Summary of the project

The central topic of the scientific network "AI Algorithms for Decision-Making in Businesses and Organizations" is around developing, implementing, and evaluating new AI technologies to support decision-making in businesses and organizations. As such, a distinguishing element are innovative algorithms from the area of AI (e.g., explainable AI, generative AI, foundation models, probabilistic ML, causal ML, etc.) that allow for new insights in practice and, on top of that, hold great potential to inform and improve decision-making. In particular, the network is planned as an interdisciplinary initiative that pools and exchanges innovative AI technologies from various sub-fields of business research (e.g., marketing, operations) through an integrated format.
