Undergraduate Project "Enterprise Computing": Process Automation

In this specialized project, various sub-areas of Process Automation are to be learned using selected software. The planned sub-areas include:

  • Business process modeling
  • Modeling of business rules
  • Implementation of executable processes
  • Execution and monitoring of running processes
  • Process integration

On the one hand, students acquire knowledge in the area of modern technologies for the development of (process-oriented) information systems. In particular, competences in the areas of design, development, optimization and evaluation of intelligent and process-oriented systems are imparted.

By working in groups, project management techniques are tested in practice, communication skills are acquired and the ability to work in a team is strengthened. The presentation of project results expands competencies in the presentation of solutions for complex problems.

As part of the projects, students acquire and deepen their project management and communication skills. Students work together in smaller and larger self-organized agile teams and present interim results and plans for the next steps in regular project meetings.
