We are pleased that we were able to successfully publish our paper entitled "AI-based real-time anomaly detection in industrial engineering: A structured literature review, taxonomy, and research agenda" in the journal "Computers & Industrial Engineering".
As part of the research of Dr. Philip Stahmann, Maximilian Nebel and Prof. Dr. Christian Janiesch, a structured literature review on real-time anomaly detection was conducted. The analysis of 90 publications from different disciplines resulted in a taxonomy with 13 dimensions and 42 features, which is useful for both practice and science. The aim was to systematize scattered findings and further develop theoretical and practical approaches. In addition, three key research priorities were identified for the future development of the field in order to better structure decision alternatives for anomaly detection systems and facilitate their implementation.
