Management of Artificial Intelligence: New Lecture

Logo Enterprise Computing © ITMC (2022)
"IT Management" is replaced by the lecture "Advanced Enterprise Computing"

Due to the changes associated with the establishment of the Master's degree in Information Systems, we retire the Master's module "IT Management". IT management content can still be taken as "IT Strategy and IT Management" in the Bachelor's degree course in Information Systems. For (Applied) Computer Science, an alternative is to be created in the Bachelor's degree as part of the re-accreditation process.

The "Advanced Enterprise Computing" module will replace the Master's module and become a compulsory subject in Information Systems and in Enterprise Computing as an application subject in Applied Computer Science. In doing so, we are taking current developments and requirements into account and modernizing the subject at the same time.

"Advanced Enterprise Computing" is a specialization subject designed to deepen the specific content of business informatics. From the winter semester 2025/2026, it will deal with the management of artificial intelligence.

It is planned that the module will teach the following content:

  • Fundamentals of artificial intelligence, including its technologies and applications
  • AI agency and human-AI interaction
  • Ethical considerations and legal frameworks
  • AI governance
  • MLOps

The module always takes place on Tuesdays at 10:15 in SRG 1 / 1.004.
