"Improving Trust between Humans and Software Robots in Robotic Process Automation"

Prof. Janiesch is attending the seminar "Improving Trust between Humans and Software Robots in Robotic Process Automation" at Schloss Dagstuhl this week.

Topics that will be discussed this week revolve around different facets of trust in software agents. In particular, working groups are discussing theories of trust, calibrating trust, trust in human-machine interaction, evolution and development of trust, and guiding organizations towards a hybrid human-machine workforce.

Dagstuhl Seminars are often described as the most productive scientific events that computer science researchers have experienced. In contrast to traditional conferences, Dagstuhl seminars focus less on the presentation of new results. Instead, they provide an excellent opportunity to report on and discuss in detail current, unfinished research and ideas.
