The National University of Singapore is the oldest university in Singapore and the largest in terms of student numbers and courses offered. It is considered one of the most prestigious universities in the world. The QS World University Ranking 2019 and the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2018-19 rank it as the best and second best university in Asia and eleventh and twenty-third in the world respectively.
