We are delighted to welcome Anne Stockey as a new research assistant at the Chair of Enterprise Computing.
Her path to TU Dortmund University began while she was still at school: she first became aware of computer science at TU Dortmund University through the Computer Science Taster University for schoolgirls. She then completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science with Electrical Engineering as an application subject.
Anne gained a wide range of experience in research and practice during her studies. From the sixth semester, she worked as a student assistant at the Lamarr Institute, where she supported both research projects and the organization of student workshops. She also worked in the "AI in Logistics" project group at our chair during her master's degree in computer science.
She finds the combination of AI research with practical issues from business and industry particularly exciting. In addition to a six-month internship at Westnetz, she also dealt with this topic in her Master's thesis: as part of the "Do AI Yourself" project, she developed an AI fairness tool for medium-sized companies.
We are delighted that Anne is now part of our team and wish her a successful start and much joy and success at the Chair of Enterprise Computing!
